It’s that time of year again where no matter how hard we all try… we are still SO busy!
You’ve been dying to come in and get a massage or go to the sauna to help relax and flush out some toxins, but you just can’t find the time. No worries I’ve got your back *wink wink*! In this blog post we are going to go over a quick and super easy at home detox massage with a few variations to meet your needs! Why Do a Detox Massage?:
What you will need:
How to do a DIY detox massage: Once you have all of your materials gathered that you will be using for this diy massage, find a quiet relaxing spot to set up (PRO TIP: You can even do this before you shower or in the shower). Personally, I recommend having a towel nearby or sitting on top of one, because things will get oily. Take some fractionated coconut oil and put it in your small tub or bowl (enough for you to use for your diy massage- it varies if you are only doing a certain portion of your body or the whole body). Add several drops of your choice of oil (Slim & Sassy, Grapefruit, Siberian Fir, or Deep Blue are all great options) to the fractionated oil in the tub and then mix the two together. After mixing the two together, dip your hand or fingers in, and lather it on the desired portion of your body. Using either your hands, a fascia blaster or drybrush, massage the mixture into your skin at your desired level of deepness. You can do this as long as you would like. Enjoy your own relaxing getaway in the comforts of your own home this chilly season! Looking for a more relaxing massage?
